Hunter Haynes

A Born Leader For Rutherford County!

Hunter Haynes has deep roots in the community, and has long been dedicated to serving Rutherford County. Hunter attended CHASE High School in Forest City, NC and graduated in 2013. While at CHASE Hunter participated in the Student Government Association and served as Student Body President. Hunter also participated in athletics at CHASE playing Baseball and Football for the Trojans. Hunter received a scholarship to play baseball at Montreat College in Black Mountain, NC which is the home of Rev. Billy Graham. 

After college, Hunter moved back home and Married his wife Sadie. Hunter and Sadie have two kids Mali and Maverick. Hunter then attended BLET (Basic Law Enforcement Training) at Isothermal Community College. After graduation Hunter began his law enforcement career at the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office. While at the Sheriffs office Hunter has worked in the detention center, as transport officer, court house security, road patrol, and detective. 

Hunter has served multiple roles in and around our community such as, President of Chase Little League, Forest City Little League Board Member, Baseball Coach at CHASE Middle School, Rutherford County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard and much more. 

Hunter comes from a family of leaders. Hunters grandfather, Sheriff Damon Huskey was Sheriff of Rutherford County for 24 years. 

Hunter's campaign slogan is "Strong At Home". A vote for Hunter Haynes is a start to making Rutherford County the gold standard for North Carolina. Hunter will fight for strong emergency services to keep us protected at home, strong secure schools for our children and our teachers, and a strong economy to bring business that makes sense for Rutherford County that will bring lower taxes.
